"The Greatest Good..."

I'm BAAACK! From Destin, FL that is. Woody Oakes and
his gang put on a fantastic seminar this year, and
I was blessed with the opportunity to speak twice.
What a blast to share my ideas with a live and interested
crowd, in such a beautiful place.

[By the way, my wife and the kids had an awesome time
too. Reid and Kenan loved all the pools at our oceanfront
condo...and Olivia said her favorite part was the
"thandcathels" she built beside the ocean!]

It was great to meet dozens and dozens of dentists and
team members. And it was also flattering to have many
of them tell me how much they enjoyed my presentations. I'm
thrilled to know that I was able to help a bunch of dentists
and team members get motivated to excel and grow!

That brings me back to where I left off last week.

Over the next several messages from me to you, I'll
be outlining my new Coaching AND Mastermind Program
that I'll be officially launching in just a couple of
weeks. I'm working on the website now, which will go
live on "Launch Day". It's there where you'll find the
application and all relevant information. Stay tuned.

Some of you have asked me: "Why are you launching a
Coaching and Mastermind Program?" I'm clearly very busy,
with a full-time practice and family life, plus Dental
Insiders Alliance. Well, the answer lies in this quote
from the legendary British statesman, Benjamin Disraeli:

----------------------------------------------------------
"The greatest good you can do for another is not just to
share your riches but to reveal to him his own."
----------------------------------------------------------

That's why. Through my experience in coaching dentists
and dental teams throughout the U.S. and Canada, I've
experienced tremendous satisfaction in helping them
exceed lofty goals that they perhaps thought were way
too high initially. My strength is UNCOVERING OPPORTUNITIES
that are either lying dormant within your dental practice
(the best kind, because they're FREE!), or out there
for the taking, if only you knew where and how.

I realize that many of you want more than the content
delivered here, and via teleseminars, webinars, and
newsletters. You want MUCH MORE. Some want more access to me
for CUSTOM advice on how to grow their practices. Others
want more focused TRAINING on marketing and business systems.
Still others want to make big BREAKTHROUGHS, and they want
an environment where other, like-minded dentists who share
common goals can meet and "synergize" their ideas.

Some are struggling in this challenging economic climate...
new patients are becoming harder to acquire, as are the
necessary "YES's" from their existing patients. They need
help, and they need it NOW.

Others are actually still doing well, but they want to grow
MORE, and take advantage of every opportunity before them.
These high achievers believe in the "Slight Edge", and they
understand that ANY edge they gain in their business is
PRICELESS...especially during a recession. They want it NOW.

This program is for BOTH the struggling and the thriving,
and anyone in between. One primary REQUIREMENT to be
accepted into my Coaching and Mastermind Program is the
DEDICATION TO GROW, PROFIT, and SHARE in the success of
yourself and others.

As I said in my previous message, this program will have all
the benefits of a Coaching program, plus the unique advantages
of the Mastermind group, all rolled up into one great program.

The only limiting issue is that because of the time-intensive
structure of the program, I'll only be able to accept 16 doctors.
On "Launch Day", scheduled to be Tuesday, May 12th, I will
begin accepting applications from those doctors who are committed
to achieving more than ever thought possible...perpetually into
the future.

So now you have the Launch Date...Tuesday, May 12! Be ready
to act if you believe you want to be a part of this.

Tomorrow I'll send even more information, including the
actual NAME of this Coaching & Mastermind Program! I know
the name's not everything, but I think you'll find it
interesting...and your feedback on it is welcome.

Lastly, I'll be posting a brief survey soon to find out
what preliminary questions you may have about this new program.
Many of your questions will be answered as I reveal more
information, but I do want to know what may be on your mind.

Stay tuned for all of the above...and have an AWESOME day!

All my best,
Chris

Which is better? PLUS, an announcement...

-----------------------------------------------------------------
Which is better: Coaching or Mastermind?

Plus...an announcement for you!
-----------------------------------------------------------------

Last time I mentioned that I would address the above question,
which has been asked of me by several doctors since I started
this thread about Coaching and Mastermind groups. I
meant to get this out to you earlier, but my family kept me
booked with some planned (and unplanned!) birthday weekend
activities...and Monday was CRAZY busy.

Yes, my "3rd Annual 39th Birthday" was Sunday, and we had
the whole weekend packed with Kenan's soccer practice and games
(I'm his coach), Reid's T-ball pictures and games, golf with
my dad, family birthday dinners, etc...beginning THURSDAY night.
I'm still tired, and it's Monday night...and we're ALL (family and
team) going to Destin for Woody Oakes' Spring Seminar on
Wednesday, where I'm speaking not once but TWICE...WHEW!

Anyway, back to the question. "So what should I be looking for,"
asked one doctor. "A Coaching program or Mastermind program?"
Although I could spend hours going on and on about each, I'll
try to break it down pretty thoroughly but quickly here.

First, Coaching. These programs tend to be rather short term in
nature, often lasting one or two years in dentistry, with many
variations. There are in-office and out-of-office versions,
either involving primarily the doctor or with team heavily
involved.

Coaching more frequently involves an individual, per-practice
model, meaning there is more emphasis on one dental practice
or partnership. While group Coaching does exist, it must be
primarily standardized when presented in the group model...
which can have limitations.

Benefits of Coaching include the personal attention given to
the client practice, and the ability to customize the program
for each individual office. Coaching without customization should
NOT be considered, as all practices have different nuances that
require variations in protocols.

What's usually missing from Coaching programs, however, is the
involvement and participation of other practices who are going
through similar circumstances and share common goals. That's
where the Mastermind group comes in STRONG.

Mastermind groups bring the power of SYNERGY, which I described
in detail last time. In the Mastermind group, both diversity
and commonalities should be balanced so each member can get
different perspectives and angles on the same issues. The
collective thought processes, under careful guidance of a solid
leader, bring big breakthroughs that can literally transform a
practice, and the lives connected to that practice.

Another significant benefit of Mastermind groups is CONTINUITY.
Unlike most coaching programs that "teach and set free", the
Mastermind group can continue perpetually. As you might
imagine, the tendency is for each group to get stronger and
stronger over time. Some members occasionally opt out after
some time, while new members join off the waiting list as slots
come open, albeit rarely. The best Mastermind groups stay largely
in tact for many years.

Masterminds are usually best carried out with only the business
leaders present, and perhaps one primary team member. These are
more strategic leadership meetings, usually held 2-4 times
per year. In between, implementation takes place...and it had
better, because each member of the Mastermind is held ACCOUNTABLE
by the group. That accountability leads to BIG growth.

Pure Mastermind groups, however, don't often include personalized
coaching. That's the primary limitation. Sure, you do get the
personal benefits of your own "hot-seat" hour or so, when the
entire group is focused on you and your business. And I can
personally attest that EVERY time I get BIG takeaways from OTHER
members' hot seat hours. But other than that, there's little
to no one-on-one time with the leader/coach.

Lastly, it can often be quite difficult to assemble a like-minded
group of business leaders, especially on a local level. Just
recently another doctor emailed me about this very thing. He tried
to form a local group with other entrepreneurial friends, and
as he put it: "the reception was lukewarm at best". Unless there's
a rather large group of entrepreneurial business leaders from which
to form a much smaller Mastermind group, forming such a group is
a huge challenge.

So, WHICH IS BETTER??

Can you FEEL my answer??

You got it........BOTH!

Yes, both Coaching AND Masterminding in my opinion are the way to
go. Problem is, virtually all coaches and consultants out there
in dentistry either have one or the other. Most have a "Coaching"
program, or a "Consulting" program, or a "Mastermind group". But
none that I know of have taken the best elements of both and
put them together into one solid Coaching AND Masterminding Program.

Until now.

That, my friend, is the announcement I have for you today!

In just a few short days, I will LAUNCH dentistry's newest and
most innovative...and most COMPLETE...Coaching and Mastermind
Program! This program will be for a small number of dentists
who are TRULY SERIOUS about reaching levels never before thought
possible in their practices. Through ONE-ON-ONE Coaching and
cohesive Masterminding, each member who is selected for this
ELITE group from highly-interested applicants will be presented
with the most unique business building environment in dentistry.

All the details, including the composition and organization of
the program, as well as how to apply, will be covered over the
next several days. I will also reveal the NAME of the program,
which is perhaps the only thing I'm still debating! Everything
else is in place...ready to help a small, motivated group of
dentists SOAR through ANY economic conditions.

If you'd like to indicate your preliminary interest, just send
a message to Tonya Andrews, my new Dental Insiders Alliance
Business Coordinator. Her direct email address is
Tonya@DentalInsiders.com. She will organize messages and funnel
them to me...I will address them as quickly as possible.

You most certainly want to be following the next few messages,
during which I'll outline my new Coaching and Masterminding
Program, and how to apply. Again, because of the intensive
nature of the Program, and the amount of my time involved, I
must strictly limit the size of the group to just 16 doctors.
As you can see, it'll be quite easy to "miss the boat" if
you're not watching closely.

That's it for now. Have a fantastic day, and be on the lookout.

All my best,
Chris

PS: I know you may be thinking, "How much...what's my investment?"
Well, now's not the time to answer that. I can say right now that
the investment WILL be significant, and it should be, because the
VALUE of the information and breakthroughs uncovered during this
experience will no doubt lead to six-figure LEAPS in revenues.
Not just in the coming year, but also during subsequent years too!

The Power of the Mastermind...

Yesterday I focused mostly on the benefits of having a great
business coach that can help you unlock the potential within
you and your practice. When you consider that even the world's
BEST at what they do have at least one coach...and that their
performance almost immediately suffers when they try to let go
of their coach (see Tiger Woods)...the mere question of whether
or not to have a coach is brain dead easy to answer.

Today I'll expand on the Mastermind concept, and how it can
transform your business and your life through its application.

Napoleon Hill wrote extensively about the Mastermind concept in
his must-read book, "Think And Grow Rich". Here's a quote:

"No two minds ever come together without thereby creating a
third - a third invisible, intangible force that may be likened
to a third mind. You may have noticed many times that by
discussing something with another person you suddenly get
good ideas as a result of the discussion, ideas you would
not have gotten without this association. Well, the same
thing happens to the other person. A lot of good ideas have
been born in individual minds as a result of having met in
committee.

Associating with your mastermind alliance is not meant as a
means of letting others do your thinking for you, far from it.
It is meant to stimulate your own thinking through the association
with other minds. No one knows everything."

That THIRD MIND is the holy grail of the Mastermind. It's worth
far more than the sum of its parts. It's where big BREAKTHROUGHS
are spawned, and it's the reason for investing the time and
money required to become a part of one.

That said, I must emphasize how important it is for each great
mastermind group to have a solid LEADER who acts as the "coach"
of the group...or sometimes the "referee"! When big ideas are
flying around and passionate people are involved, it can get
pretty intense. Not the place for thin-skinned or whiny people.

Mastermind leaders must bring unique skills to the table
that benefit the entire group. In a professional niche like
dentistry, a balance of knowledge and experience in dental practice,
coupled with an understanding of business and marketing and
interpersonal relations concepts from outside the profession,
would be ideal.

Such experience is also beneficial in avoiding the most
common problem with poorly planned, ad hoc Mastermind groups:
the "DOPELER EFFECT". Unlike the Doppler effect, the DOPELER
effect occurs when bad ideas start sounding better as they
come at you faster and faster!! Nothing's worse than the whole
room agreeing to a bad idea...and a good mastermind leader
brings the proper perspective to prevent that from happening.

The Mastermind is a perfect environment for true business
leaders who want to maximize their effectiveness and harness
the powerful ideas of others. Finding the right group with
which to associate can be challenging, however. You want to
make sure you're spending your valuable time with individuals
that share your desires not only for growth and success, but
also for helping others do the same. Givers, not takers.

That's all for today. Tomorrow, I'm going to address the
burning question: "Which is better, coaching or masterminding?"

All my best,
Chris

Coaching and Masterminding vs. Tax Day Tea Parties...

"Coaching and Masterminding vs. Tax Day Tea Parties"

I know, I know...today is TAX DAY. This is perhaps the most hated
and dreaded day of the year in the U.S. for many. On top of
that, this particular tax day is especially interesting. All
across America, hundreds of thousands of people will gather to
protest our government's reckless deficit spending programs,
and subsequent imminent universal tax hikes (it's not just
a matter of "if", but "when").

Will you be attending one of these "Tea Parties", named in
memory of the famous Boston Tea Party symbolizing 'taxation
without representation'? I hope not...but not for the reasons
you may expect! If it were not for my reasoning below, I'd
be there myself.

Hey, I'm all for letting government know how you feel about
their behavior. Regardless of which side of the political aisle
you're on, you must be wondering what the heck is going on
in Washington. But what is the BEST way for you to react?

BY FAR, the most sensible and effective way for you to make
tax day a non-event...and make EVERY day more enjoyable...is
to spend your available time doing everything you can to
maximize your productivity, and thus your income! In short:

OUTPRODUCE your tax liability!

I abhor big tax bills like everyone else. And if you're cranking
out serious revenue numbers, your tax bill will be big even after
all legal deductions have been maximized. So will your bank
account! That's the point.

But how do you break through BARRIERS that have been keeping
you from hitting new, record levels of productivity and profit?
Here's a hint: you can't do it alone!

I've found that when I try to take everything on by myself, my
results may be good, or even really good, which in fact can be
dangerous. Why? Because they're not GREAT.

However, when I harness the power of a great mentor/coach that
can help lead me through "the wilderness areas" of my business
with which I'm less familiar, my results improve from good to
GREAT to OFF THE CHARTS.

Only an insightful business coach can have the "outside eyes"
you need to help you experience big breakthroughs in your
practice. From uncovering hidden profits lying dormant within
your walls, to discovering opportunities outside it, to exposing
internal problems that inhibit growth, the right coach can
help you and your practice in ways no one else can. I call it
"UNLEASHING WEALTH"!

The wealth has been there all along, ready for the taking. It
just needs to be untied and "let go" into your hands. That's what
the right mentor/coach can do for you.

Similarly, you must surround yourself with like-minded peers
who want the same results for their businesses just as much
as you want results for yours. People who are savvy DOERS that
want to help just as much as they want to be helped. Hence
the power of the Mastermind, which I'll explore more tomorrow.

I'm currently involved with one coach/mentor and two separate
mastermind groups. Each requires significant investment.
Each is worth MULTIPLES MORE! Those who are willing to commit
to coaching and mastermind arrangements routinely outperform
those who try to "go it alone" by a wide margin. I've experienced
this phenomenon firsthand. There's no reason why you shouldn't
experience it yourself!

All my best,
Chris

PS: Tomorrow I'll dig into this concept more...including
things to look for AND to watch out for. See ya' then.

"Pure persistence is vastly overrated"...Plus, G.A.D. SOLD OUT!

Today's quote: "Pure persistence is vastly overrated".
More on that in a minute, but first:
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Google Adwords Domination for Dentists is SOLD OUT!
Kelly has reached her maximum of 20 sharp doctors who
want to capitalize on the new leading (and growing)
method used by people searching for a dentist.

These dentists, and the 15 before them, have LOCKED OUT
their local areas from other dentists. Kelly's Adwords
services are exclusive to each area, because she can't
"compete with herself" by helping more than one doctor
per local market.

My strong suggestion, if you want the BEST Google Adwords
specialist in dentistry CERTIFIED by Google, is to keep
your eyes peeled for when Kelly opens her doors again. I
can't say exactly when , but it'll be after she gets these
doctors' Adwords accounts up to a "cruising altitude" of
new patient traffic. My best guess is 45-60 days.
-----------------------------------------------------------------

"Pure persistence is vastly overrated".

The above quote, credited to marketing and business building
icon Dan Kennedy, must be read VERY carefully. The operative
word in the sentence is "Pure"...in this context meaning "alone"
or "by itself".

It would be easy to misread this and conclude that Dan's
saying that you don't need to be persistent. Ahh, quite
the contrary! Persistence is a MAJOR key to success. Not
taking "no" for an answer, pressing farther than most are
willing to press, being resourceful and finding new avenues
when most around you claim there are none, etc.

But PURE persistence cannot lead you along the path to higher
levels of success without consideration of other key principles.
Simply put:

Be sure you're barking up the right tree first!

In other words, are your business systems in order? Are you
targeting the right market with your messages, and are you sending
the correct messages that match that market's wants and needs?
When someone responds to your persistent messages, are they
being handled properly to move them through the "buying" process?

All BIG questions to handle before you rev up your persistence!

It makes little sense to JUST be persistent when there are
significant issues with bigger business practices that thwart
your results. Without proper attention paid to your entire
"business funnel", and how prospective and existing patients
are to travel through it, your dogged persistence will likely
result in little more than amplified frustration!

All my best,
Chris

PS: Recently I've been asked by several dentists if I run a
more comprehensive coaching or mastermind program. For a few
doctors it was more of a request, as I have not previously
had such a program.

Well, right now is not the time...and right here is not the
place...to answer that question directly. However, I will
indeed provide "the answer" very soon, in more ways than one.
Stay tuned.

And, over the next few days I'll be outlining what I consider
to be THE most important elements of a great coaching and/or
mastermind program...because I feel it's crucial for dentists
to connect with and invest in the essential NON-clinical
training necessary to succeed in any economic climate.
Consistent with the theme of today's message, finding the
right program that "sticks" for you is of utmost importance!

Only 2 Slots Left in Kelly's "Google Adwords Domination"...

It's Google Adwords "Crunch Time"!

I meant to send this yesterday, but we were so busy at
home and at work on Monday and Tuesday that both days got
away from me. Big cases filled both days, along with numerous
new patient consults. Reid (5 1/2) demanded that I help him
get his tooth out; we all had a huge Easter Egg Hunt and
dinner right after work yesterday; and of course there was
that NCAA Championship basketball game on Monday night...
my UNC Tar Heels won it all! (Don't be mad if you're not
a fan). Anyway, I'm back.

Here's the update on Kelly Muldoon's "Google Adwords Domination"
program for dentists. Remember that Kelly and I presented a
webinar last week covering the ins and outs of getting new patients
with Google. The feedback has been awesome.

During the webinar Kelly announced that she has opened her
doors to accept just 20 more dentists who want to dominate
their local area in Google searches for dentists. So far,
EIGHTEEN have stepped up to the plate, leaving just
TWO SLOTS LEFT.

You can snag one of the remaining slots here:
www.DentalInsiders.com/googleadwords

This service comes with AREA EXCLUSIVITY! No other dentist
from your area will be allowed to use Kelly's services if you
reserve your place in this program.

However, if another dentist signs on with Kelly before you, you'll
be LOCKED OUT...and Kelly's the best.

Chris

Google Adwords Domination & Musical Chairs...

Just like last time (December 2008), the openings for
new doctors in Kelly Muldoon's 'Google Adwords Domination
for Dentists' program are vanishing very quickly. If you
want to start getting new patients from Google starting
as early as next week, it's time to take the leap!

www.DentalInsiders.com/googleadwords

(Dental Insiders Alliance members SAVE 40%!)

Kelly's webinar was a HIT with the attendees, most of whom are
current Dental Insiders Alliance members. The feedback has
been fantastic, and we're getting twice the usual message
traffic with inquiries about her services (most questions
can be answered at the above link).

Because of the time intensive work involved with starting
up new Adwords accounts, individual ad creation for each,
etc...Kelly can only accept 20 doctors into the program
at this time.

Since she opened the doors on Tuesday night, 15 have already
raised their hands, signed up at the above link, and sent in
their Doctor Information Sheets. I'm pretty good at math,
so I can tell you that...

...there are ONLY 5 SLOTS LEFT!

That's it. No scarcity gimmicks. It's a real limit.

We're now playing Google Adwords Domination "Musical Chairs",
and the music's about to stop. I've got hundreds of dentists
circling 5 chairs. With each seat comes a potential avalanche
of new patients! Are you going to grab a seat?

The best part is, you don't have to wait for the music to
stop. You can grab a seat right now!

www.DentalInsiders.com/googleadwords

All my best,
Chris

Dr. Chris Bowman
Dental Insiders Alliance

PS: Thursday I got 6 new patient inquiries from Google.
Wednesday, 4. Tuesday, 5. Monday, 5. That's 20 new
patient inquiries this WEEK...just from Google...and
Google still works on weekends and holidays!
You want some of that?

PPS: I hear ya: "But how many actually show up?" We convert
94% of inquiries into appointments, and 95% of our new patients
show up for their first appointment. Using the above stats,
that would be 18 patients! Even if your conversion rates are a
dismal 33% of mine, you'd still get 6 MORE new patients this week,
not including Friday and the weekend. Not bad, eh?

PPPS: What are you waiting for?

Dominate Google Starting TODAY...No Foolin'!

You can dominate Google...starting TODAY. No Foolin'!

The only caveat is that you need to move quickly.
Twelve dentists have already acted, leaving only 8 openings.

Here's how, and why.

Last night's "Get New Patients NOW With Google" webinar
with my special expert guest, Google Adwords Certified
Specialist Kelly Muldoon, was incredible. Kelly shared
80+ minutes of genius-level information about how to
efficiently manage a successful "Pay Per Click" internet
marketing campaign using Google Adwords for your practice.

Yes, I'll admit it is technical stuff, and many would
consider the process to be quite complicated. But it
IS very achievable if you are willing to devote the time
and energy to getting dozens of new patients monthly
using Google.

If you'd rather have this all done FOR you, I've got
great news:

Kelly has reopened her doors for only 20 (8 now) dentists
who want to dominate their local markets with their
own ultra-successful Google Adwords campaigns. She
will handle ALL of the details, and you'll be receiving
phone calls from new patients within just 24-48 hours
after your campaigns are activated!

Google Adwords Domination has RE-LAUNCHED...with a
limit of 20 dentists! 12 slots are gone, only 8 remain.
Sign up here:
www.DentalInsiders.com/googleadwords

Because of the significant time required for Kelly
to set up and manage each of her clients' Adwords
campaigns, she can only take on 20 dentists at a
time. This is the first time in 3 months that she's
allowed new clients to join this program...so if
I were you I'd jump on this now.

Remember, Google is by far the #1 external source of
new patients in my practice. And it's Kelly who runs
all of my Adwords marketing campaigns. She has niched
ads in 6 different categories for me, including cosmetic
dentistry, sedation dentistry, sleep apnea, Invisalign,
TMJ/headache therapy, and porcelain veneers. Kelly can
do the same for you, if you are one of the next eight
to sign on and submit your practice information to her.

By the way, if you're accepted into the Google Adwords
Domination program, Kelly will LOCK OUT all other dentists
in your area. You'll have EXCLUSIVITY that no other
dentist can take away from you. You'll also have a
bunch of new patients calling your practice every month,
starting almost immediately!

Here's the link to submit your request to Kelly:
www.DentalInsiders.com/googleadwords

You'll KICK yourself for not doing this. Do it now,
and enjoy the boost in new patients and the profitability
that comes with them!

All my best,
Chris

PS: I forgot to remind you that you can literally control
how much you invest in your Google Adwords campaigns. And
you only pay Google when someone clicks on your ad. No
other marketing medium can match it.

www.DentalInsiders.com/googleadwords
