paper-hanger! If by chance you've sent me a message and I haven't
yet replied, please know that I haven't forgotten about you. I've
understandably been swamped with my busy practice (3 10K Days this week...1 really close!), and preparations for the program launch.
I'll be replying to messages today and over the weekend.
Today I'll cover the question of how The "10K Day" Program works
with different insurance philosophies. Later I'll also clarify
exactly how the launch of this program will go down, including

This week I've received a few questions asking about my approach
to dental insurance, and how my Coaching and Mastermind program
will handle insurance issues in different offices. Great questions.
First, I've designed the "10K Day" Coaching and Mastermind Program
to be completely "insurance independent", just as my practice is.
What I mean is that this program will be of enormous benefit to
the 16 doctors who get in, REGARDLESS of whether they:
- Accept non-PPO, non-DMO insurance assignment only
(meaning you accept payments from insurance companies, but you've signed no contracts and you charge your full fees)
- Accept SOME PPO's, including Delta and a few others, in addition
to "traditional" insurance
- Accept MANY PPO's and/or DMO's plus traditional insurance
- Accept NO insurance payments whatsoever, meaning ONLY the patients pay and any insurance they have reimburses patients directly

projections for your practice are not dependent upon you changing

"What's this '10K Day' program all about, anyway?"
(Get ready...this one's long but VERY detailed!)
That seems to be the question on the minds of several doctors
who have been asking about it. Here I'm going to address the
basics of the program so you can gain a better understanding of
how it can benefit those doctors and practices who are involved.
A couple months ago I was visiting with Dr. Chris Port, a very
successful dentist in my hometown of Asheville, NC. I've only
known Dr. Port for about 7 years, but we've gotten to be great
friends...and he's also a Dental Insiders Alliance member as
well as a full-day coaching client.
We were both sharing our practice statistics with each other,
and I commented that I had more "10K Days" -- consisting of
at least $10,000 or more in COLLECTIONS -- in the fourth quarter
of 2008 than ever before, by a wide margin. And the first quarter

Can you "go it" alone?
Can you "go it" alone?
What I mean is: Can you take on the challenges of growing
your practice perpetually to new heights without seeking the
help and guidance of a mentor or coach?
My answers may surprise you...yes, two answers. The first is
simplistic but leaves out precious information. The second is
perhaps a little more jarring.
Answer #1: SURE you can. You indeed can take on the challenges
of navigating your practice though its "growth journey" on your
own, without the help of any other experts or guides.
Answer #2: Wrong question. The better question is: SHOULD you
"go it" alone? My answer here is a resounding NO!
- In my experience, even the highest achievers never reach
the epitome of success without first aligning themselves with
an insightful coach that can keep them on track and moving
toward their goals FAST.
- Even if you are "doing well" going solo, you're most certainly
leaving big money on the table in missed opportunities without
a strong mentor to help you uncover those unforeseen treasures.
- It's not only about the money...it's also about the STRESS
REDUCTION and CONFIDENCE that comes with following the advice
and recommendations of a coach who can help to inspire and
motivate you to keep moving forward.
- And don't forget the ACCOUNTABILITY factor! When you have a
coach to whom you must periodically report your progress, you'll
accomplish more, period. It's all too easy to be easy on yourself
and thus fail to reach your goals as quickly as you can.
- Lastly, the UNIQUE RELATIONSHIP that you build with someone
